There are three methods of entering questions in Quia:
1. Create the questions directly in Quia
2. Create the questions in a word processor then copy/paste into Quia
3. Create an import text file then import into Quia
You must have a "paid" account to use this feature
(copy from word processor to text editor application strips hidden coding from the file - "save as txt" does not)
Difficult question types & formats
You may need to create one of the more difficult questions in quia first
then export the question to see how it is set up
you can then set up your import file using this template

then copy/paste into your text editor
Why? click the show/hide button in your word processor
You should see: | |||
Note that you see all the non-printing formatting characters
Even when you "save as text" some of these characters stay with the text document
So, copy/paste your questions (after spell checking) into a text editor to strip all formatting from the document
